The story of Rufus

Rufuss lives with his family in Valmiera, Latvia. Since he is a small dog below the knee, the garden around the house is too big for Rufus. It often happens that the dog boy wants to greet other four-legged friends from behind the fence and goes through the fence. The owner is very worried that the pet will run into the driveway or get lost. Changing the fence is very time-consuming and expensive, but the accident does not come – the owner of Rufus bought a tracking device for his favorite Doglo small dog. Through the Doglo app, the owner could also add a virtual fence to the map with a radius suitable for him, and now the smartphone will immediately notify if Rufus is outside the enclosure area. The owner uses the virtual crate function every day to guard his pet and is satisfied – Rufus’s location is always visible to him.

In continuous tracking mode, the tracking device lasts 36h (large dog device) or 24h (small dog device). In this way, it is possible to monitor the dog from the app all day and guard it with a virtual crate. The Doglo device also has an activity tracking mode that helps keep an eye on the dog when the dog is on the move. When the dog sleeps, the device switches to standby mode – this way the device saves the battery and remains uncharged for about a week. The device is conveniently charged wirelessly.
